LifeLearn is a skill development game that helps patients find confidence in their capabilities and prepare for life transitions in a protected, controlled environment.
Players can choose to either go shopping and or navigate public transportation systems. Once inside the game, they learn to use maps, payment systems, ask for help, and interact with others, all while in a safe, simulated environment.
LifeLearn allows players to login to their saved account, allowing players to progress at their own pace without having to start from the beginning each time they play.
The technology uses a motion sensor to detect hand and head placement relative to a simulated environment, especially helping patients with autism and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs).
